Every election
counts. Whether it’s for President and Congress, State representation
or local government, each elected official representing your district
will have a direct effect on your daily business.
Your District
Attorney, for example, sets the agenda for crime control and
prosecution. Is crime under control in your neighborhood? Companies
heavily reliant on exports should consider how well their Federal
representation meets their needs, and every company needs its district
Councilmember’s community agenda to meet its needs.
The
Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia encourages your participation in
the voting process: the manufacturing community is 60,000 strong, a
powerful voting block that can make a difference in any election. But
that difference can only be made if manufacturers exercise their right
to vote. Both candidates and non-partisan groups provide a wealth of
information to keep you up to date on all elections – take advantage of
it, get informed and get voting. For more information on who your
elected officials are, where to find your district and how to register
to vote, visit our Government Watch page.
